Tree Removal Libertyville Cost Making Your Estimates

By Michael Edwards

After removing a tree, many times there will be a stump left and getting rid of it can be a tough job. One way of doing this without much effort is to burn it out. Before you proceed, there are two things that you need to do first as you go on with the tree removal libertyville.

Size matters. The size of the stump is a very important factor to be considered when the companies make an estimate of the price you will pay. Stumps can grow quite tall reaching up to 80 to 120 feet high in some cases. Some of the very tall stumps include red oak, walnuts, and hardwood. The price for cutting down some of these stumps could go as high as $500 depending on the professional you hire for the job. There are some other medium size stumps that stay between 25 to 60 feet tall. The fee for this kind of stumps is from $150 to $300. But smaller stumps that are less than 30 feet high could be removed at a lower rate. Usually, the rate varies from $100 to $150.

Root burning steps- You will need a chain saw to cut an "X" on the top of the root. The deeper and wider the X the better for burning the root. Fill the area that was just made with gasoline or kerosene but do not light it. Let it soak for a while into the root, which can take several hours. Once the fuel has soaked in, pour more in the area until it flows over the side and leave it to sit overnight.

Set fire to the root the next morning by lighting some paper and tossing it on top of the trench. To make the burn more effective and go faster you can follow the above paragraph but before you set it on fire get a large metal barrel.

How big it actual needs to be will depend on how large of a root you need to burn. Cut off the bottom, top of the metal barrel, and place the barrel over the entire root. Toss in some log and put some more fuel on the logs so that a good fire will start.

When you are using the barrel for root removal, put in more logs once the fire is burning well. The barrel helps to keep a high temperature, so the root will burn more efficiently because it is soaked in fuel. Keep putting in more logs and let it continue to burn until the root removal is finished. If you need to burn it some more the next day, you can cut another X in the root or drill some holes in, pour more gasoline or kerosene on the root and set it on fire again.

If the root elimination involves a root that is deep rooted and big burning it out might not work so you may hire someone professional to do the root elimination. Make sure that you wear protective gloves to protect your hands from being burned. Work on old trees is best left to professional stump care companies. If you need root or stump elimination

We can tell you that it's a good idea to get a couple of estimates before taking on a project. Most reputable companies will offer free quotes on the project. You will see a great variety in prices, so make sure you get a few quotes. You can find websites, which specialize in things like outsourcing tree stump removal at a discount or use websites like the BBB to find a good fit.
